Doctrine The word Doctrine simply means "A Teaching". These are amongst the finest that you will find will enthral, encourage and challenge you as you learn to apply these faith building and life changing doctrines to your life. Our philosophy is that of Biblical theology not systematic Theology. That is to say we present what the bible has to say rather than a systematic method to establish a position. Where the BIble is silent, we are silent, where the Bible presents options we present options.
These studies are our Doctrinal Study Stream, teaching from the word of God, about God, about the word of God, enabling and enhancing our understanding of the word of God. The word Doctrine simply means "A Teaching". These studies are amongst the finest that you will find on the word of God, but not simply a teaching on the word or a formal exposition of the facts, but here you will find the facts set out to enthral and encourage and challenge you. Apply this doctrine and you will find relevant, faith building and life changing doctrine. So it should be. Dry facts may indeed meet an academic need, but we are interested in the application of those facts as much as we are interested in the facts themselves, for if this doctrine does not change our lives then the facts are little more than dry dust and dead ashes, not the life giving word of God we proclaim it to be. The Bible – the word of God – is our primary source of authority and teaching, and yet you will also find a wealth of information from other disciplines, archaeology, science, history and so on, for the truth is always the truth. The truth of the word of God can be found in every discipline and we are not afraid to show it, for the sciences and disciplines affirm what God has said. So we invite you on a journey of relevant, life changing, faith-building teachings set out to build you and indeed to establish you as a workman that does not need to be ashamed. The assessment requirements are a set subject assignment which is usually a multiple choice exam, additional credit points can be earned by completing an essay or a student study guide. The links below will take you to an introduction page on the topic on our sister site, the Internet Bible College where you will be able to purchase these subjects as a student of Vision Christian College or the Internet Bible College
