 Christian Counselling
We offer one of the most effective counselling programs available through distance education thanks the most excellent set of studies provided by some of the finest Christian Counsellors. Although a subject from the counselling stream may be undertaken as a stand alone subject we do discourage students from accessing them until they are ready to undertake a "Diploma of Theology - Christian Counselling" program. The prerequisite is the "Diploma of Ministry from any Vision College or equivalent institution.
Our reason is sound; if you wish to be a counsellor you aught to have a sound biblical base before you specialise in this field to ensure that you will be an effective and wise counsellor. In addition a student who wishes to undertake our Diploma of Theology in Christian Counselling will be required to find a mentor who will be required to report back to us on the suitability of the student as a counsellor. Our motive is just: to protect both the integrity of our award and of our students who have graduated with a Diploma or Bachelor in counselling.
We want you, to be assured that an award from Vision is an award with integrity, that graduates will be men and women with a firm grasp of the word of God, a head and heart for counselling and the skills that can be exercised with confidence.
