Your ChoicesWe are committed to giving you the best study options available, but which is best for you?

 

All of our subjects can be studied from your own home in your preferred place of study at your pace and you have the opportunity to self select the subject you need to study.

 

You study at your pace your place, but which program is best for you to choose, Recognised or Accredited?

 

Ultimately the choice is yours but we offer the following points to help you decide which options are best suited to your needs as a student, you may have other criteria to take into account, but we offer these considerations  to help you to make the decision as to which course is best for you. Of course there may be many other factors that have to be taken into account and the points below are simple suggestions to help you make the right decision for you and your ministry

 

Vision Christian College offers both Recognized or Accredited Bible study options to the student body by Distance Education.

 

The Recognized program will best suit you if:

    1. You only require biblical, or theological, or related studies
    2. You do not require or are not eligible for support from Austudy or Abstudy or Youth Allowance
    3. You do not require recognition for further study in TAFE or University.
    4. If you are seeking further study purely to develop your ministry in the word of God.
    5. If you wish to study the word of God and wish to receive recognition from a recognised program.

Recognized Awards are:

    1. Certificate in Biblical Studies
    2. Associate in Biblical Studies
    3. Diploma of Ministry
    4. Diploma of Theology

Awards are gained by the student as they accrue credit points to earn the award they are enrolled into.

The Accredited course will best suit you if:

    1. You require Austudy, Abstudy, Youth Allowance or other funding options to support you in your studies and require an accredited program.
    2. You wish to gain recognition for further study in TAFE or University or other recognised Bible College.
    3. If an accredited program is your personal preference
    4. If you are seeking training for ministry that embraces the word of God and by virtue of other relevant skills development.

The VETAB accredited awards are:

    a. Certificate III in Theology or Christian Ministry
    b.Certificate IV in Theology or Christian Ministry
    c. Diploma of Theology or Christian Ministry
    d. Advanced Diploma of Theology or Christian Ministry

Awards are gained by the student as they complete the predetermined set of studies as outlined in the VETAB course syllabus.
