Award Catagories PDF Print E-mail

Award Catagories Generally speaking there are three award categories that can be applied to the various types of study courses that are available in any field of study.  These options are broadly accepted standards around the world.

Vision Christian College offers two of the three options, they are Accredited and Recognized awards.  The other option "not Recognised" is not offered by Vision as they have no academic value whatsoever.

We recognise that different people and different circumstances demand different study options. To this end we are delighted and proud to be able to offer  Awards that credibly meet the ministry needs of the student body.

Recognized

The Recognised option is best suited to those student who do not require accredited study and:

  1. Are already in ministry and seek a better understanding of God's word and wish to enhance their ministry
  2. Activley involved in remote ministry such as the mission field or isolated from local community and church life
  3. Do not intend to enter ministry but want to formally study the word for their personal benefit
  4. Want to be a better member of the body of Christ and the local church
  5. Are actively involved in church life and wish to develop their knowledge and skills base
  6. A new Christian seeking a sure understanding of Gods word

The Recognized Course is accepted by the churches, bible colleges, mission organisations, para church groups for "Ministry Training" and attract full recognition with similar colleges and institutions but may not attract full academic recognition in accredited universities and institutions.
